When FriendlyBunny started in 2017, services like PayPal, Skrill, Payoneer, Webmoney or ePayments (went out of business) was widely requested by our users. Today, even though their popularity is declining, we still offer them as an option for our users. They were successfully replaced by cryptocurrencies and modern approach to banking by Wise.

FriendlyBunny recommends to use banks over EMIs - either traditional local banks or modern online companies with banking license like Wise or Revolut. It is more secure and should be also cheaper if you are using modern banking solutions.

Payoneer

Payoneer is a global financial services company that provides online money transfer and digital payment solutions founded in 2005. It offers global reach with multi-currency accounts and it's own debit card.

Payoneer has it is fair share of problems during Wirecard fraud, a significant financial scandal in 2020, which had effect on Payoneer as they relied on Wirecard services. Since then, Payoneer's services have since been reestablished with new banking partners, but questions about the trust remains.

In certain areas, Payoneer may serve you well, but in general, we recommend to use other banking solutions - local bank account or Wise .

PayPal

PayPal is a well-known and widely used digital payment platform that facilitates online transactions and money transfers, founded in December 1998. PayPal is primarily used for making online payments. Users can link their bank accounts, credit cards, or use their PayPal balance to pay for goods and services on a wide range of websites and mobile apps. It's commonly used for online shopping, paying bills, and subscriptions.

However, PayPal is known for charging rather high fees, especially for currency exchange and international payments. If you are our user, for example from somewhere in Asia we recommend you to use your own local bank account as a safer a cheaper option.

It is also worth to mention, that we are not sending payments to our users PayPal account in "friends and family" mode - we are always paying in "services and goods" mode.

Skrill

Skrill is an e-commerce business that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet, with a focus on low-cost international money transfers. It is owned and operated by Skrill Limited, a UK-based company registered as a Money Service Business with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and licensed to operate within the European Union.

PricesSkrill charges you small fixed amount and/or small percentage amount, pricing is quite extensive and changes a lot, so it is best if you check on their website - go to Skrill .

WebMoney

WebMoney is an online payment system and digital wallet that was founded in 1998 by WM Transfer Ltd. It is based in Moscow, Russia, and has gained popularity in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union, as well as in some other regions of the world. WebMoney is designed to facilitate online payments and money transfers, making it a versatile option for various financial transactions.

As already mentioned, Russia is their main area of focus as users from Russia often does not have access to european services and payments to russian bank accounts are rather problematic given the situation with Russia today. For our users from Russia is WebMoney alongside with Skrill and cryptocurrencies most popular option to choose from.
